Bonnie's Pottery
I have always been attracted to clay. As a child, I tried to turn my record player into a pottery wheel, without success. (thereafter, it played my records v-e-r-y  s-l-o-w-l-y. Some years ago I dabbled in polymer and air-dry clays and sculped soapstone and alabaster.  But my fascination was with pottery. I loved the way if felt in my hands, marveled at the brilliance of glaze, and sensual curve of a hand-smoothed rim. I loved how each uniquely crafted pot was a reflection of its maker, down to the last fingerprint.  I yearned to shape my own clay vessels that would long outlive me, perhaps by thousands of years.
